Born Gay?

Did you think that people are just born gay? Now I'm not here to tell you that you or someone you know were or were not born gay. All I'm saying is that there are many different reason why someone could have or suffer from the same sex attraction. Now I am a straight male and I would not want to have a same sex attraction. If you are suffering from an unwanted same sex attraction or don't want to have a same sex attraction there are doctors out there that can help you with this. 

One reasons why people can have same sex attraction is bullying. Everybody is different and some boy might not be as strong or as fit as others. They might not like to box or wrestle or to work on cars. They may not like to do quote on quote manly things. As a result of being different their parents or more commonly the father can disown this child because he isn't manly. Fathers or even other peers can put these kids down and call them gay or weak or a pansy or a wimp. As a result of rejection and lack of attention and healthy physical contact and bonding from other male figures. They can begin to believe that they are different or that they are not the same or that they are actually gay. 

What you know has an effect on you. I've said this before in a previous blog. So if your grew up in a gay house hold being told you were gay and having gay parents you are probably more likely to be gay. We know that from many twin and adoption studies, that our surroundings have an effect on our sexual preferences. A gay man is more likely to have a biological gay brother than a straight man, lesbians are more likely to have gay sister than straight women are. Now this could be a biological effect except that being gay or having same sex attraction is nope proven to be biological. However there have been some studies done on identical twins. Where one twin is gay and the other is not therefore providing evidence that its not biological and has more to do with how you are treated at home or at school or by your parents and peers. 

Personally I don't believe that people are born gay. I do believe that there are gay people out there that don't want to be gay or don't know why they are attracted to the same sex. I also believe that there are people out there that choose to be attracted to the same sex. For they people that struggle with it and don't want to have a same sex attraction. I don't think they should be hated on for their struggles with it. I don't think they should receive hate from others how chose to be gay for trying to get help. As for the people that chose to be gay I don't think they should be hated on for there choice to be gay. That is there choice and they can choose that if they want. I don't believe that there needs to be discrimination those who choose to be gay and those who don't.

Family Systems

 Every family has their own system, their way of living, being, cohabitating, relying, and communicating with each other. Everyone in a family plays a roll. Mother, Father, Husband, Wife, Bother, Sister, Aunt, Uncle, and so on...you get the idea. Each and every single one of these people have played a roll in your life at some point in time. Maybe not directly to you but maybe they had some sort of effect on your father or mother or maybe even your sister or brother. That is what makes up the family system theory, it is a theory of behavior that shows the family as a complex social system, which members interact to influence each others behavior.
